New York, we love you.
Short Film of the Day: In their short visual poem “Sub City New York,” Sarah Klein and Tom Mason pay tribute to “that moment in New York when you emerge from the subway and find yourself in a new and sometimes unexpected world.”
Even now, when I take the subway at least two to three times everyday, the smell of entering a subway station often reminds me of my first visit to New York when I was ten years old. The scent of train tracks, garbage, and metal - not found in the suburbs - that sometimes blows into your nostrils for a second when you walk down the stairs. The smell of city.

From One of Our Users
It’s like there are now a set of three different social websites, each catering to a different human experience. Facebook is sort of the general social connections site, for pictures and memories, to keep ties. Twitter is essentially a constant flow of our conscious, what we are thinking about, where we are, jokes etc. Its mostly text and sort of a bother if you don’t enjoy social commentary and general buzz, but it is also highly addicting. Now Date My School on the other hand is highly specified toward our libido. Sorry I’m a tad high and found it fun to explain.
